As Labor Day lurks around the corner, about a quarter (24%) of private sector workers will not be enjoying a paid day off on Monday. A similar number (23%) earn no paid vacation time. (Economic Policy Institute)

The majority of HR managers agree (77%) that employees who take most or all of their vacation time are more productive in their jobs than those who do not.
Further, HR managers believe that taking using vacation time leads to higher performance (75%) and increased job satisfaction (78%). (Project Time Off)
Vacations are great for overall productivity. More than 50% of employees feel more “rested, rejuvenated and reconnected to their personal life,” and nearly 40% of workers “feel more productive and better about their job” after returning from vacation. (Entrepreneur)
