2015 Super Bowl Commercials I Can’t Wait To Watch

I am very excited to watch this year’s Super Bowl 49, not only for the game, but also because of the awesome commercials and halftime show. Since I work for a marketing firm of course I am excited to see how brands are going to be represented by their commercials. The whole Super Bowl experience just amazes me every year. Brands spend a ton of money to advertise and their marketing teams usually hit it out of the park.

Here is my list of commercials I am excited to see this year:

Skittles and Their Big Guns

Skittles has released a teaser video that depicts several people in a small town. Everyone in the video has one arm that is huge. I am hoping they are alluding to the battle between the nasty green apple flavor that they replaced lime with a while ago. Maybe they are going to arm wrestle about it? To be honest, I bet they will take to social media and let the fans decide. I am team lime all the way.

Budweiser, Their Puppy, and Their Clydesdale’s

Most people know that Budweiser puts out some of the best Super Bowl commercials I for one know that I look forward to them. This year they pulled out another tearjerker. It shows little golden retriever puppy that gets lost and then on its way back home runs into a bad wolf, but don’t worry it gets saved by the Clydesdale’s in the end. Oops, Spoiler Alert. Take a look:

GoDaddy’s Controversial Puppy Commercial

The video starts off with an adorable puppy that bounces out of a truck and then shows the puppy’s journey back home. In your head, you can only hope that it is going to be as cute as the Budweiser commercial but it’s not. The owner is very excited for the puppy to come home as she grasps it in her arms and hugs it. What you can’t believe is that in that very dear moment she plops the puppy in a truck because she sold it on her GoDaddy website. The commercial made a lot of people uncomfortable and because of that the ad as been removed. GoDaddy  said that it will give fans another video that will accurately portray its brand, unlike ripping out everyone’s heart like this video did.

Pizzahut’s Referees Throw A lot of Flags

Pizzahut brings in Tony Romo and Rex Ryan to throw flags at people that are eating plain crust pizza. Their slogan is “Don’t settle for unflavored crusts.” This is in support of their new crusts that they are bringing awareness to with 10 different flavors, all for free. At one point, a referee throws a flag right into a guys waist and I died laughing. Funny commercial guys!

Mindy Kaling’s Superbowl Teaser

One of my favorite comedians is Mindy Kaling now that she is the star of The Mindy Project. We quote her all the time in the office! I am still not sure who she is representing in this commercial, but it is sure to be a funny one. Check it out:

Snickers and The Brady Bunch

Snickers has been using celebrities to portray people being mean when they are hungry. They eat a Snickers and then they are snapped back to their normalless angry selves. One of the most memorable commercials that I remember them airing was the 2010 Super Bowl when Betty White plays football  with all of the guys. This year they got Danny Trejo to pretend that he was Marcia from the Brady Bunch yelling and “her” Mom from within her room while brushing her hair. It’s funny!

The Jurassic World Commercial

As a kid, I loved every Jurassic Park movie that came out. I remember how creeped out I would get by watching them, but I would keep watching them over-and-over again. They hired Chris Pratt to play in the upcoming Jurassic World film and I honestly can’t wait! Check out the official commercial:

Newcastle’s Doritos Prank

Newcastle is known for their humor in their hilarious commercials and this year they are living up to their name. In this video, a guy is looking all around for his bag of Doritos and his wife keeps sending him all over the place to find them. The funny part is that Newcastle can’t say Doritos so it is bleeped out every time! Take a look:

Budlight Real Life PacMan

Last year this lady comes up to a guy with a Bud Light in her hand and asks him if she gives him the beer will he be #UpForWhatever happens after? A few seconds later he is in a stretch limo, smooshed in an elevator with a llama, playing ping pong with Arnold Schwarzenegger and then there is a huge party after the walls drop. This year we have a quick video showing a real life game of PacMan going on and it looks like a blast. I can’t wait to see this one.

Katy Perry’s Halftime Preview

I am a Katy Perry fan and I am excited to see what she pulls off at The Super Bowl this year. I saw her in concert and thought that the show was wildly entertaining. I can only imagine what sort of stunts she is going to pull during The Halftime Show. I also have a secret; Katy and her team are staying at my Aunt and Uncles house in Arizona I had to share that! Take a look at her preview and let me know what you think.
