Wow, the first week of June is already gone. Did you miss it? Here are all the things from the workweek.
NEW VP!
It’s not every week that you get to see someone you really REALLY like get married AND snag an executive role at a former client! This past week, Rayanne Thorn did both! Not sure if it started at SocialHRCamp in Omaha, but that’s how I’ll tell the story to future generations. Congrats to Dovetail and to Rayanne! (Facebook)
SOURCING Q
Amybeth Quinn (Research Goddess to the real OGs out there) asked a great question on Facebook. What percent of your hires or talent pool should come from sourcing? Some said 95% of all hires, others hovered around 20%. Most people seemed to set in the middle at a pretty high 65% or so. What do you think? (ERE)
A NEW VOICE CRIES OUT IN THE WILDERNESS
Rom Dromgoole has been posting quite a bit lately over on LinkedIn and I like what I am seeing. His latest piece is a take on the Uber employee ruling and addresses it quite nicely. (LinkedIn)
PRETTY COOL TOOL
We’ve been playing with Vitru here in the office and we’re blown away. The product has been completely revamped and we learned some interesting things about Shaley and Kerry’s similarities we didn’t know before! Try it free. (Virtu)
