Meet the Brancher: John Lewis

The Red Branch team is proud to introduce our very new and shiny (just kidding, more of a nice healthy glow) email marketing and PR intern, John Lewis. Before we get started, yes, we’ve already hazed him with our favorite onboarding game, New Brancher Trivia. All jokes aside, John fits right in with his go-get-’em attitude and welcoming smile.

The man of the hour is an original from… well, many places. John spent 14 years of his life kickin’ it in Kribi, Cameroon where the beach scene is long, with streams of uninterrupted white sand leading to a waterfall pouring into the ocean (Uhm hello, where is our invite?) Can you blame him for marking this African hot spot as his favorite place to ‘lax? We won’t argue.

When he’s not busy bumpin’ to Leon Bridges on the surf side, he’s bending the ol’ noodle at Trinity International University in Chicago to chip away at his business marketing degree. We know what you’re thinking, quite the adventurous soul you have there. But wait, there’s more. All responsibilities and mortality aside, John tells us he’d climb Mount Everest in (wait for it) ONE DAY if a genie were to grant him 24 hours of immortality. Sheesh, John, you best start training on our FitDesk.

Like Indiana Jones, (or should we say) Indiana JOHN, snakes are not his friend. He would never in a million years hit up snakes on his favorite app, “Whatsapp” where he keeps in touch with friends and family from all over the world. It’s okay, Indy J, grudges can be held here.

We knew John would kill it as a Brancher when we heard his super company culture-esque favorite quote, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” -African Proverb.
